Dental Bridging in Mumbai

Missing teeth can be treated in many ways like dental implant and dentures. The other common method is dental bridging. Bridging is a method of filling the gap between teeth or tooth by a false teeth attached between two dental crowns.
They are classified into three
  • Traditional bridges
  • Cantilever bridges
  • Maryland bonded bridges

Traditional Dental Bridges
Traditional dental bridging is the common method in bridging. In this method, false teeth fixed between two dental crowns, and fixing it in the surrounding tooth. Surrounding teeth are prepared earlier for fixing the crown with bridge.
Cantilever Dental Bridges
Cantilever bridging is slightly different from traditional bridging. In this method, one crown is used to attach the bridge. The crow is fixing in the surrounding teeth and the attached false teeth is infused into the missing area.
Maryland Dental Bridges
In this method, the gap is filled with only one teeth. ie, an artificial teeth is used to fill the gap. Two wings, that attached to the artificial teeth helps to fix that teeth with the surrounding tooth.
